“Yoga is not about touching your toes,

it's what you learn on your way down”

-Jigar Gor-

Who We Are

As a happily married couple, we thrive on nurturing each other's growth and discovery. With eight years together, we continue to uncover new insights about ourselves each day. Our journey is guided by a willingness to explore and understand our behaviors and patterns, striving to become the best versions of ourselves.

We have found that yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound therapy are powerful tools that not only support our own journey but also empower others to find their paths.

Carley Simandl

Carley started her career as a passionate Make-up Artist. While working so intimately with the skin and peoples faces, Carley noticed many patterns of dehydration and malnutrition were far too common. On a quest to learn more about nutrition, she attended The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. True Beauty is from the Inside-out. This started an overall lifestyle change, from clean beauty to clean eating and eventually led Carley into a yoga studio for the first time at 30 years of age. She instantly loved the physical & energetic transformative benefits.  In 2015, Carley went to Nicaragua and completed her first 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Since Carley´s initial training, she has completed 400 more hours of different trainings and has 3 certificates in the field.

Combining the best of all worlds, Carley coaches individuals to live their best life with a connection to mind, body & spirit.

Alex Malanco

Alex' yoga journey started back in 2014, first as a way to stretch the body, it would soon show that it would also expand his mind.

It wasn't easy at first. Abandoning yoga after the 2nd class and going back to a regular gym routine, yet something deeper called out to return to the same class, now in search of a more spiritual approach.

It all started as a simple exercise and organically became a lifestyle.

Months after, he moved to Playa del Carmen where the ideal studio presented itself to continue his practice and eventually complete a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Intrigued human anatomy, he became a very form and alignment oriented instructor, also learning different breathwork techniques which then led to jumping into ice cold lakes.
Yoga transformed his life so he wanted to share that with others, thus following his true calling. While continualy adding different holistic modalities to his plethora of offerings, as an experienced Sound Bath Artist, Cold Plunge Facilitator and Breathwork Guide.
